This team have an excellent track record of developing their team members and invest heavily in training as well as supporting their health economists to publish their work at conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Responsibilities:

The Health Economics Modelling Consultant will focus on the development of HEOR models for a range of clients, geographies and therapy areas including orphan and rare disease assets. Day to day responsibilities will include:
Undertaking quantitative data analysis and research, developing and adapting health economic models and supporting the development of HTA submission components.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to project management tasks, preparing and delivering presentations / reports to clients and, depending on experience, taking on some quality checking and supervisory responsibilities for other team members.

  • Experience required:

The ideal candidate will have a MSc / PhD (or similar) within a quantitative subject (e.g. health economics, epidemiology, statistics, mathematics or economics). Previous experience of developing health economic models as well as a detailed knowledge of economic evaluation processes and techniques either from within another consultancy or academic environment is vital. In addition, excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data analysis as well as familiarity with some or all of the following is important: Excel R, Python, STATA, SAS.
