This will be a leadership position within a very collaborative team. Whilst the Director will not be expected to build models directly on a regular basis, the ability to support junior staff and advise on technical issues and give practical support with modelling queries is vital.

In addition, the Associate Director will be client-facing and the successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable leading multiple projects from end-to-end, managing clients, internal staff and external contractors.

My client is a leading HEOR Consultancy company with a growing team of well-educated and high performing Health Economists working on international projects covering 5 main areas:  Economic Modelling, HTA, Outcomes Research, Value Communication & Pricing & Reimbursement

The Manager position is a senior role within the business and offers an ambitious Consultant or Senior Analyst the opportunity to take on responsibility for: Project Management, Client interaction / managing client relationships & Managing or mentoring junior staff (if desired).

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who has a genuine passion for the Health Economics / HEOR sector and who is eager to challenge themselves and progress. This is a company where there are constant opportunities to progress and where each individual’s ambitions are respected.

Projects will be varied but are likely to include; Developing / leading the development of Burden of disease / cost-effectiveness / budget impact models, Undertaking systematic reviews / meta-analysis / survival/statistical analyses, Creating value dossiers & UK / EU5 HTA submissions.

In addition to offering an interesting and diverse project portfolio, the company also prides itself on their working culture and environment and boasts a very high employee retention rate.

Applicants must have a BSc degree (min 2:1)  in a numerical or analytical scientific discipline as well as an MSc/PhD in Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or similar. In addition, substantial experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is vital and some experience of VBA, R, STATA, SAS, SPSS or other similar software is very important. Aside from the technical skills, strong project management and communication skills are key and previous people management / leadership experience is desired but not essential.

The company is a very well-established (over 10 years) and stable HEOR Consultancy which employs circa 20 people and is based in excellent new offices in central London. The Health Outcomes Manager position is a senior role within the team.

The Health Outcomes Manager will be specifically responsible for:

  • Strategic direction and Project Management of Systematic Review / evidence synthesis activities
  • Line management of a small team
  • Conducting / overseeing study analyses (including meta-analysis)
  • Developing study reports, manuscripts and conference presentations
  • Leading / overseeing the generation of project proposals and managing client relationships

Applications are encouraged from candidates working in Consulting or Academia who have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject, demonstrable expertise in systematic review / evidence synthesis methodology, a good level of knowledge of HTA in the UK / Europe and competence with at least some of the following: Excel, WinBUGS, Stata, RevMan.

Knowledge of indirect treatment comparison and network meta-analysis methods and some line management experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a brand new position within an established specialist consultancy comprised of a team of Consultants who all work from home throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within another Consultancy (or potentially within academia) undertaking Pricing, Access and/or Health Economics writing projects and some experience or knowledge of UK/EU HTA submission requirements would be beneficial but is not essential. My client is a small but established boutique Pricing and Market Access Consultancy with a stable, diverse and ever-growing client base including top 10 Pharma companies and small start-up biotechs. This is an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to develop their career in a fantastic company which focuses on high-quality work and has an incredibly low staff turnover rate.

The Consultant position is a new role in the team, created due to consistent growth. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Consultant will be given exposure to a range of Pricing, Reimbursement and strategic Market Access projects for the UK, European and Global markets.

Projects will include:

  • Conducting research to identify Market Access solutions for new and existing products
  • Generating high-quality reports and presentations
  • Analysing and interpreting clinical / economic data
  • Developing HTA submissions, Price / Reimbursement submission forms and tender documents.

Applicants must have previous experience of some or all of the following: Value Demonstration, Evidence Synthesis, Market Access or Pricing projects either from another Consultancy or a pharmaceutical company position. In addition, a degree in a life science subject, pharmacy or economics / statistics is highly desirable. Most important is a genuine interest in the pharmaceutical pricing and Market Access sector.

This is a new position within the UK & Ireland business unit of a mid-sized Global pharmaceutical company, created to lead Health Economics / HEOR activities for a new portfolio of exciting Biologic products launching in the UK & Ireland.

The HEOR Manager will be responsible for:

Working closely with the company owners, the new BD Manager will be involved in strategic planning for the business, identifying new business opportunities and liaising with new and existing clients to continue the excellent growth the company has enjoyed in recent years.

This is an excellent long-term position with a company which has a clear plan and solid foundations for further growth.  The successful candidate will have a strong background in Market Access / Health Economics consultancy and a detailed understanding of the UK market is essential. The company’s office is in central London, but the Director can be located anywhere in the South East.

This is a new position within a rapidly growing Consulting company working with a number of private and public sector pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations around the world.

Working closely with the Business Development Director, the incoming Manager will be given responsibility for generating new leads, building relationships with new clients, developing project proposals and liaising with internal business leaders to ensure excellent project performance and securing repeat business.

Previous experience within the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industries is preferred and  selling services rather than products would be a distinct advantage. However, most important is a genuine desire to excel in a business development role and the ability to build and manage strong business relationships.

This is a new position with a well-established boutique Pricing and Market Access Consultancy which has a diverse and ever-growing client base including large Pharma companies and small start-up biotechs around the world.

Due to consistent growth and ambitious future plans, the Owners are looking to recruit a Director to take on responsibility for: Leading Market Access and Pricing strategy projects, identifying and attracting new clients and managing existing business relationships.

Working very closely with the company owners, the new Director will be given a large amount of autonomy and will be involved in strategic planning for the business, including identifying new business opportunities / revenue streams to continue the excellent growth the company has enjoyed in recent years. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Market Access  / Pricing Consultancy and, ideally, experience of working in multiple international (EU5 / US / Emerging) markets. I am proud to be working with the renowned York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC), one of the UK’s most prestigious Health Economics consultancy organisations to recruit a Senior Consultant to join their successful team.

The Senior Consultant will take responsibility for leading multiple projects and project teams, managing client relationships (including leading the development of proposals / tenders and delivering presentations) and providing hands-on modelling support to the team where required.  

YHEC’s client base is varied and includes: Global pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies, NICE & SMC and various Government bodies.

The Health Economic Modelling team develops cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, undertakes numerous statistical analyses of patient-level data and other HEOR research to contribute to the preparation of effective HTA submissions to NICE & SMC. Other activities include publishing work in peer-reviewed journals and attending conferences and seminars.

The successful candidate will have a good track record of designing and developing (CE & BI) models as well as demonstrable HEOR project management experience and an MSc / PhD in health economics, mathematics, statistics or a related quantitative discipline. Previous experience of working within HEOR Consulting, industry or an academic organisation is suitable and previous experience of writing publications for peer reviewed journals is highly desirable. This position is available soon with interviews to be arranged during mid-late August. (Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction).

I am working with a large Global Economics consultancy company which, during the past 18 months, has been consistently developing their European HQ in London.

As their workload and client base has increased substantially, they will require some freelance support with various projects throughout 2019 and beyond and I am supporting them in the creation of a contractor network who will be able to take on projects / parts of projects as required.

The work will be varied but is likely to focus on the development of Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), country specific HTA submissions, project proposals and other Market Access / Health Economics materials as required.
