Company Information:

G&J Lee Recruitment is a specialist independent recruitment company working purely within the Health Economics and Market Access sectors for the Pharma, Biotech and Medical Devices industries.

Our role is to source, assess and submit suitably qualified candidates to our client companies. Our services include, but are not limited to: the interviewing and submission of candidates, advertising of client vacancies, updating existing users of our services and advising of market conditions.

All communications from the company are written by Gareth Lee or Jeni Lee and we never use any AI or automated assessment tools.

Gathering Information:

Any details that you submit to us either via the Website, email, during verbal communications or by post will be stored by us and will only be accessible by the two partners of the business.

Personal data includes, but is not limited to; name, address, email address, telephone numbers, nationality, salary, occupation, job history and education history, data collected from information sent to G&J Lee Recruitment either by the data subject directly or, potentially, via social network sites where the data subject has put this information in the public domain.

The personal data we collect will be used for the following purposes:

  • Assessing candidate (data subject) suitability against a job role using past experience, education and relevant skills to carry out the specific or related vacancy.
  • Reviewing against all vacancies that may be of interest to the data subject.
  • For the purpose of interviewing a candidate.
  • Submitting a candidate to the client for which we have discussed and gained consent.

  • Where the data subject has expressed an interest in a role that we have advertised, to establish suitability to the criteria of the role, based on education, location, skills and experience.
  • G&J Lee is the first stage of the screening process for sourcing and assessing to carry out the service on behalf of clients.

Client Data

When working on behalf of a client, we will need to collect and use information about individuals in an organisation. This will include, but is not limited to name, position, contact details and relevant information to carry out services such as sourcing candidates to a brief or for notifying you of other services likely to be relevant and useful such as advertising and response management options.

Supplier Data

If you are a supplier to us, we will require information to ensure that our process and service level standards are operating at the highest possible levels. We will need to store the contact details of individuals that we will be dealing with in your organisation and potentially bank details so that we can pay for the goods and services you provide to us.

This privacy notice tells you how we, G&J Lee Recruitment, will collect and use your personal data for the services of a recruitment consultancy acting on behalf of our clients to source and identify suitable candidates for vacancies we are working on to a given brief.

Why does G&J Lee Recruitment need to collect and store personal data?

In order for us to provide our clients and applicants with the best possible service levels we need to collect personal data for correspondence and security purposes and to enable us to identify suitable roles that applicants may be interested in and suitable for at any time. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

In terms of being contacted for relevant marketing purposes G&J Lee Recruitment would not need to contact you for additional consent.

Will G&J Lee Recruitment share my personal data with anyone else?

As a recruitment consultancy, we may pass your personal data on to a client company working with G&J Lee Recruitment in the course of dealing with you – However, your details will only be passed on to a Client in relation to a suitable position with your explicit consent and never without it.

Any third parties (Clients) that we may share your data with are obliged to keep your details securely, and to use them only to fulfil the service we have outlined. When they no longer need your data to fulfil this service, they will dispose of the details in line with G&J Lee’s procedures. If we wish to pass your sensitive personal data onto a third party we will only do so once we have obtained your consent, unless we are legally required to do otherwise.

How will G&J Lee Recruitment use the personal data it collects about me?
