Due to consistent growth in recent years, a new position has been created within this exceptional business which delivers Market Access and Launch strategy services to a wide range of small and start-up pharma and biotech companies in Europe, the US and other Global markets.
Reporting to the CEO and working alongside a leadership team containing several highly experienced and well-connected pharma/biotech executives, this new leadership role offers the opportunity to lead and grow an already established business unit and be part of the company’s next phase of growth.
The Launch Strategy business unit focuses on commercialisation of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products including pricing strategy, launch sequencing, HTA preparation and more. The incoming VP will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective business plan for continued growth of the unit, overseeing project delivery, supporting and recruiting team members and contributing to business development activities too.
The VP will be highly knowledgeable about the current Market Access environment within Europe, the US and, ideally, at a Global level, with a detailed understanding of the impact/challenges/opportunities presented by current policy including JCA and MFN.Product launch experience is absolutely essential and the ideal candidate will have worked within a pharma or biotech organisation and held responsibility for leading multiple product launches, (preferably within high-cost/innovative/rare disease areas).
A genuine enthusiasm for participating in business development and client engagement activities is also essential as this will be a high profile, customer facing position including regular travel to industry events/conferences and client sites.
Consulting experience is not essential but would be advantageous and previous people management experience is also highly desirable.
