This is a brand new position within a pre-launch biopharma company offering an experienced Market Access leader the opportunity to take on a high-profile, influential position focusing on design and delivery of a successful project launch in the UK and Ireland markets alongside an experienced Head of Patient Access. Working in a highly collaborative matrix structure, the new Director will partner with Medical, Clinical, Market Access and Commercial colleagues to design, plan and deliver effective Patient Access and launch strategies.
Specific activities will include:
Pricing analysis and strategy development, review of early access opportunities, leading advisory boards and payer engagement, HTA submission management (NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE), health economic evidence development (budget impact / cost-effectiveness analysis), contributions to RWE strategy and launch sequencing.
Substantial experience in a UK focused Patient Access / Market Access position, previous rare disease product exposure, proven launch strategy skills and a detailed understanding of HTA processes and requirements in the UK and Ireland markets are vital requirements. In addition, some HEOR and/or RWE skills and experience would be advantageous. Formal training within health economics, health policy, pharmaceutical sciences or a similar subject is preferred.
