This is a new position within an exciting, growing consulting business based in the North West of England and is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate / postgraduate to join an experienced and knowledgeable team of industry experts in a position where there will be a large amount of training, professional development and exposure to varied and interesting projects.

Projects will include: Patient preference research, Qualitative and mixed-methods research, Real-world evidence generation, Health economics / outcomes research and Patient engagement activities.

The Research Associate will be given the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks including study design, data collection, analysis and reporting, publication development and client presentations.

Working with a small, close-knit team, this position offers a rare opportunity to work across a wide range of projects and gain experience of working directly with clients, attending conferences and industry events whilst also having direct access to company leaders and decision makers.

Some previous experience within a life science consulting role would be advantageous but is not necessarily required. Most important is training to BSc or MSc level within a life sciences subject, confidence in working on analytical / research tasks, a genuine interest in working within healthcare research, health economics or patient centred research and the successful applicant will also be someone who enjoy solving problems and wants to make a positive difference in the life sciences sector.

This position is intended to be partly based in the company's brand new offices which offer fantastic facilities including an on-site gym but some home working is also possible. There will be regular opportunities to attend industry conferences, undertake relevant training and to work directly with clients to support the successful candidate’s professional development. Applicants must be able to work in the UK without restriction or the need for visa sponsorship and be able to spend some time each week in the company’s office. Therefore, being based in the Liverpool / Manchester region will be important.
