This is a new position, created due to continuous growth, within the health economics division of a Global consulting company which has more than 40 years’ experience of partnering with pharma, biotech and academic teams to deliver innovative health economics research and support HTA submissions.

Responsibilities:
The new Health Economic Modelling Specialist will focus on the development and creation of health economic models including; cost-effectiveness, budget impact, state-transition and partitioned survival models using Excel and/or R as well as undertaking various economic analyses as required for international research projects and HTA submission activities. There will also be regularly opportunities to work on presentations, manuscript and abstract development for client and conference presentations.

Experience required:
Applicants must have a strong academic background including a MSc or PhD qualification in health economics, statistics, mathematics or a similar quantitative subject plus some work experience of health economic modelling either from another consultancy, pharma/biotech company or academic role.
Competence in modelling with Excel and/or R and strong analytical skills are also essential requirements. Some knowledge of UK/EU HTA processes and requirements and familiarity with indirect treatment comparisons would also be advantageous.
