Vacancy:
EMEA Market Access Director

• Medical Device manufacturer position
• Location: Home based in Germany (Applicants must be able to work in Germany without restriction)
• Languages: German and English required
• Reporting to: VP of Global Market Access
• Responsibilities: Leadership of EMEA region Market Access and Reimbursement strategy and activities for multiple countries. HTA preparation and delivery including engaging with payers, policymakers and local stakeholders plus internal cross-functional collaboration

Due to continued expansion of this Global Medtech company's product portfolio and market coverage, a new position has been created within the Market Access team. The Director of Market Access will report to, and work closely with, the VP of Global Market Access to lead the development and delivery of EMEA region market access and reimbursement strategies.

Specific activities will include:

• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders including commercial, medical and regulatory affairs colleagues as well as payers, HTA authorities, policymakers, and  KOLs in multiple countries
• Creating effective reimbursement and Market Access plans for multiple countries
• HTA / Reimbursement submission preparation and delivery across the EMEA region but with a specific focus on Germany, France and Eastern European countries
• The successful applicant will have substantial Market Access / Reimbursement experience in the EMEA region and be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding of international markets, specifically including Eastern European countries.

Previous Medical Device / Medtech company experience is preferred but applicants from pharma/biotech companies with suitable international markets experience are also encouraged to apply.
HTA submission experience and a demonstrable knowledge of reimbursement pathways is essential and applicants should also be able to demonstrate a successful track record of collaborative working and effective relationship building with relevant international stakeholders.
This is an international role and the position can be home based anywhere in Germany with regular international travel within the EMEA region being a key component of the position.
