This is a senior leadership position within a large, well-known Market Access, Value Communication and HEOR Consultancy company based in the UK which has a loyal global client base and offers a wide variety of services to help their clients develop and launch innovative pharmaceutical and healthcare products within international markets by investigating, developing and communicating robust scientific and value evidence.
Due to consistent business growth and expansion of the consulting team in recent years, the company is looking to hire a Director to work with the existing senior leadership team and provide additional people / commercial leadership capacity. The incoming Director will take on senior level responsibility for client management, overseeing major projects, providing leadership, support, mentoring and training to the team and ensuring a consistently high level of quality for the company’s clients. In addition, the Director will also provide strategic leadership to the business – Innovating and improving the company’s service offering, undertaking activities to increase the external profile of the business (i.e. preparing publications and presentations at industry events) and identifying new and improved revenue streams within the HEOR and Market Access sectors.
Previous leadership experience within a consulting environment is vital for this role and applicants must also have a strong scientific background, ideally with a PhD or MSc level qualification in a life science subject. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consulting Manager / Director to take on a high profile, senior position within a large, stable company and there is a substantial level of flexibility regarding the content of the role dependant on the experience and ambitions of the successful candidate.
