This is a new, rare disease focused Global position within the HEOR & Market Access team of a major pharma company, reporting to the Global VP
The Director will be responsible for leading HEOR evidence generation activities, primarily for a new Rare Disease asset, and tasks will include overseeing the development of RWE / PRO (Patient reported outcomes) strategies, SLRs (systematic literature reviews), comparative effectiveness studies including evidence synthesis (indirect & network meta analyses), Health Economic modelling (Cost Effectiveness / Budget Impact / burden of illness) as well as the generation of impactful GVDs (Global Value Dossiers), Value Propositions and Objection Handlers.
This is a senior level position which requires a detailed understanding of pharmaceutical product development / lifecycles, HEOR / RWE requirements and previous experience within a Global or European level position.
As part of a collaborative team, the Director will work with Market Access & Pricing, Marketing, Clinical Development, R&D, Regulatory / Medical Affairs and Commercial colleagues and applicants must be good communicators with experience within matrix/cross-functional team structures.
Applicants must have a strong background in health economics / HEOR (PhD level education is desirable) and previous pharma/biotech company experience at international level or substantial HEOR consultancy sector experience. Rare disease product experience is preferred but candidates who have worked with high-value, speciality products in other areas are also welcomed to apply.
