Health Economics Associate, London

  • Ideal for a highly qualified PhD / MBA Health Economist
  • Brand new office in Central London
  • £75k plus sign-on bonus & excellent package

My client is a privately-owned global strategy consultancy (employing circa 800 people) which specialises in delivering highly technical Economics / Strategy projects for pharma and biotech clients around the world. The company has a rich heritage in the US and Asia, regularly taking on end-to-projects and it is not uncommon for them to lead a pharma product from Ph1/2 to Launch and beyond.

Due to consistent expansion, the company has recently opened a new European head office in central London and is currently recruiting for an Associate to work closely with the senior leadership - managing and delivering exciting Health Economics and commercial strategy projects.
The company pride themselves on the incredibly high quality of their staff around the world and they reward their employees very well. As a result, they have a very low staff turnover rate and interestingly, they don’t employ any Sales / BD people – the quality of their projects and their reputation is all the advertising they need!

The ideal candidate will have completed a PhD in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Econometrics (or a similar quantitative science.) and may have some post-doc experience either within Academia, Consulting or a pharma / biotech company. Strong Project Management and technical skills are the cornerstone of this role and proficiency in one / many of; SAS, R, Stata S-PLUS is also important.
In addition to a high standard of education and research ability, the company is also keen to maintain their culture of nurturing and developing talent and therefore a genuine desire to learn and take on continuous professional development is vital.

The position is available now with interviews to be held in the coming weeks. If you are a highly qualified Health economist, Statistician or Quantitative Researcher who would relish the opportunity to work on international healthcare projects for a very well-respected Consultancy, apply today:
(The position is based in London and candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction. A small amount of remote working may be considered but this is intended to be an office-based role.)
