This is a new position within the UK & Ireland unit of a major global pharma company with a strong pipeline of specialist products at various stages of development.
The Patient Access Manager will be responsible for developing and leading Market Access strategies for speciality pharma products; including leading successful HTA submissions, developing an effective advisory network including relevant industry groups, patient networks and KOLs and securing optimal reimbursement for new products.
Applicants must have an excellent understanding of NHS funding processes including tendering, HTA and patient access within the UK (and preferably Ireland) as well as a good understanding of Health Economics and proven project management, stakeholder communication and organisational skills. In addition, some experience within Public / Government Affairs and Policy would be a distinct advantage as there will be increasing opportunities to work in this area as part of the role.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience within a Health Economics or Patient Access position covering the UK market.
